But in time, He worked on the soil of my heart and as I ... Read Morestudied and prayed, He showed me that I was raising His little masterpieces. He has brought doctors and therapists in our lives that have made huge differences that are medically unexplained-"improbable" cures. God stuff. I have also become a part of many different special needs support communities filled with people that were never able to stop blaming God and being angry with Him. I feel like I'm in the right place to plant seeds and start preparing the soil of others' hearts. i can't say that I understand the plan for my life, or why God chose me to raise these special kids. I know that He's holding me up and I'm working for Him.

I grew closer to God when I had to completely rely on Him for strength during two difficult times in my life: A few months after I turned 30, my parents got a divorce. And when Jason was out of the country on a missions trip, Gibson (who was 16 months at the time) got very sick and was in the ICU for 3 weeks. Jason was gone for 10 days during ... Read Morethat time. I realized how much I depended on Jason for comfort & strength instead of going go God. That is one time in my life that I had to completely give everything I had to Him and trust Him with my son. Gibson ended up being fine, but it was definitely the most difficult thing either of us has had to go through. I cannot imagine getting through that without Him.

Definitely trials...i beca,e a "christian in 1989...but it wasnt until a series of majorly difficult and tragic events happened in my life that lasted from 1999-2004 did i understand what it really meant when God loved me unconditionally..very tough, painful and humbling but opened my eyes and heart the way no other situation could

doing anything with my 2 year old brings me closer to God... she is such a reminder of his miracle of life! Plus my love for my daughter has made God's love for us all that more real.
